Men wanted in connection with Rugby shop robbery

Warwickshire Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery in Rugby.

The incident happened at around 10.20pm on Wednesday February 18 at Sainsbury’s Local in Hillmorton Road.

A man entered the store and threatened two members of staff with a Stanley knife, before making off with a small amount of money. He is believed to have made off in a silver Volkswagen Golf with another man.

The two men pictured were in the store at around the time of the robbery and are believed to have vital information to help police with their inquiries.

A 27-year-old man and a 37-year-old man, both from Rugby, have been arrested in connection with this incident and have been bailed until Wednesday April 1.
