A RUGBY beauty queen is preparing to represent Great Britain at the World Kickboxing Championships in August.

Chelsie Griffin, 21, who qualified for a place in Miss England after winning the Miss Rugby title earlier this year, has lost two stone and three dress sizes since starting kickboxing last September.

Now she loves the sport so much that she can’t wait to represent Great Britain at the world championships this summer.

Chelsie said: “Not only has kickboxing helped me to lose weight and get fit, it has massively helped my confidence too. As a larger girl I was miserable and lacked a lot of confidence but now I feel like I can achieve anything if I set my mind to it and I am really excited about taking to the stage at Miss England at the end of June.”

Chelsie will compete for Miss England crown with 60 other regional winners.
