CHILDREN can explore imaginary creatures and create a beast by junk modelling with recycled material in Rugby this half-term.

The Warwickshire County Council’s Heritage and Culture event arrives at Rugby Library Wednesday 6th June 2012, from 10.30am to midday.

Coats of Arms, museum objects and documents from the County Record Office that detail make-believe animals and mythical beasts from folklore and fantasy will also be on display.

Costs for these events are £2.50 per child, £1 for Under 5s. Suitable for children aged 4-12 years. No need to book just drop in. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Jane Commane, learning and community engagement officer for heritage and culture, said: “The events this half term ARR going to be great fun and we are looking forward to see how scary the monsters are that children make using recycled material.”
