Tots at Noah’s Ark at Dunchurch Baptist Chuch had a special visit from MP Jeremy Wright.

The Kenilworth and Southam MP, who also covers Dunchurch, visited the pre-school recenlty where he met volunteers and visitors.

Noah’s Ark has been steadily expanding since it was started by a group of local mums in 1993 and recently added a fourth session on Wednesday mornings.

Mr Wright, who tackled some playdough with the youngsters while chatting with carers and helpers, said: “This is a great community service which is very popular and widely appreciated.

“More than 80 families from Dunchurch and surrounding villages bring their children to one of the four weekly sessions, which are always well attended. The staff are all volunteers and that keeps costs low and charges within reach for everyone.

“The volunteers certainly deserve support and praise for their hard work and enthusiasm but I feel sure that the pleasure that parents and children alike clearly get from the sessions are also a reward in themselves.”
