A charity dedicated to helping victims of rape and sexual abuse is marking its 20th anniversary with a colourful revamp and an 80s disco.

RoSA, Rugby Rape or Sexual Abuse support group, had their new logo designed by Freddie Nockolds of Warwickshire College.

The group has come a long way since it was founded by a group of friends who came up with the idea while sat around the kitchen table. Today RoSA has its own offices and serves victims aged 13 and above from across Warwickshire and Coventry.

Linda Lewis, service manager said: “We felt our logo needed a revamp as it was looking slightly dated and we wanted to give a fresh new look to RoSA. We are very grateful to the support we received from Warwickshire College who allowed a willing student to develop a logo for free of charge. Freddie Nockolds did a fantastic job.”

The group’s disco is being held on Saturday May 28 at Long Lawford British Legion Social Club. To find out more about the event, or RoSA’s their confidential services, call (01788) 551150.
