It’s another big day at Elliott’s Field tomorrow, Thursday - the retail park has announced that’s when New Look will open its new store.

The countdown has been under way for a while for the fashion chain to open its second shop in Rugby.

But while some big names like Marks and Spencer abandoned the town centre when it moved there, a spokesperson for New Look told the Advertiser last month the Clock Towers store would carry on: “I can confirm the Rugby store in the town centre will not be closing and will remain open.”

Robin Swift, manager of The Clock Towers, said at the time: “It means a great deal that New Look is staying in the centre. Lots of retailers are now choosing to have dual representation in the town - Clarks is another key example.”

The statement on the Elliott’s Field website says: “New Look has announced the opening date for its new store at Elliott’s Field – Thursday, October 20.

“New Look has the latest fashion clothing for women, men and trendy teens plus accessories and all at affordable prices.”
