A WELLBEING service and ‘resource cafe’ in Rugby threw open its doors to showcase its new look after a refurbishment.
The Rugby branch of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind hosted the open day on Friday at the base in Cromwell Road.
The centre provides a place to go for anyone who has experienced any kind of mental health problems, giving them somewhere to relax, have something to eat and drink and get any help and advice they may need.
Around 50 people including Rugby’s new Mayor Cllr Gwen Hotten and MP Mark Pawsey turned up to learn more about the service and to see the newly refurbished building.
There was a number of demonstrations and taster sessions throughout the day for visitors to take part in.
Dawn Collins, senior operational manager for the Rugby branch, said: “It’s even more important to have a service like this in these difficult economic times and hopefully our open day has raised awareness of the work that we do.”
