A GROUP of children have raised more than £500 at a sponsored walk organised in aid of Rugby Myton Hospice.

The walk was organised by nine-year-old Megan Boseley, a Bilton Junior school pupil, and took place at the end of October at Old Laurentians rugby club in Bilton. The Fighting Cocks, Bilton Junior and the rugby club helped distribute sponsorship forms.

Beki Bosley, Megan’s mum, said: “The walk took just over two hours to complete and they have raised in excess of £500 so we are very proud of all of them.

“They’ve done very well to raise so much for a charity that’s so close to people’s hearts in Rugby.”

The children who completed the walk included Jack Bosley, Liam Cuddihy, Megan Bosley, Georgia Smedley, Tasha Richardson and Charlie Pittam.
