Howard Trillo’s picture of Elborow School 1957-58 (January 7) generated a great deal of interest. And one of the boys on that photo has found us a few more of the same class in 1959. Bob Hargie is on the left of this picture and says sitting next to him was Eric Kinninmonth, with Howard Trillo and John Cooper nearest the camera. Barry Clifton is just behind in the white shirt. Bob won the cup on the right that year for best sportsman in the school. Headmaster at that time was ‘Pop’ Wetherell. Wetherell Way in Brownsover is named after him.
