THE transformation of a town hotel into a care home for the elderly was revealed to guests at a special open day on Monday.

The former Woodville Hotel in Bilton Road has been converted into a 15-bed care home for the elderly.

The building was bought by Crosscrown Ltd, which runs four other care homes in Rugby.

It is now known as Woodville House and has been upgraded with new facilities, while the furnishings and decor of the building have remained where possible.

Manager Karen Tait said: “Living in a communal setting can never be the same as living in your own home so we want our residents to feel that they are living in a luxurious hotel with discreet and attentive service from our caring staff.”

As well as residential guests, Woodville House also caters for day guests. The open day was attended by managers, staff, residents and guests.
