Tomorrow (June 5), and on the first Wednesday of every month, Vault opens it’s doors to Open Resistance (OR) – an alternative collective of poets, bands, musicians, DJs and film shorts.

On June 5, OR will host veteran poets from Rugby Writers: Andrew Lemming, the experiemental Scott Baker and the dynamic fist-punching Buddhist Punk (Tim Holmes). A first performance by Man & Machine (Simon Ainley) music virtuoso for a visceral interpretation of “resistance” along with OR’s resident soundsmith DJ Freq.

OR’s fifth show will have Hypno Doll House, an 8-piece band from Manchester headlining. Best described as “experimental afropop with soulful folky melodies.” Don’t forget to bring-along-a-chair to get comfortable.

Doors open from 7.30pm till 11pm, £3 entry on the door.
