A CHARITY bag-pack and collection by H&T Pawnbrokers in Church Street has raised over £570 for children’s charity Zoë’s Place.

Zoë’s Place Baby Hospices offer palliative, respite and terminal care for babies who have life limiting or terminal illnesses. Each Zoë’s Place hospice can accommodate up to six infants at any one time and helps babies and infants aged from birth to five years old.

Twelve H&T staff members got involved in the event held at Tesco in Rugby and by packing customers’ shopping bags in return for donations while selling cakes, trolley tokens, model balloons and hosting children’s colouring activities.

Kelvin Green, Zoë’s Place fundraising manager, commended H&T for their efforts and said the money will go towards the day to day running of the hospices.
