TWO people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Pailton last night (Thursday).
Emergency services were called to the incident at the junction of the junction of the B4027 and the B4112 in Pailton just after 10.50pm last night.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found two cars that had been in collision.
“The driver of the first car, a man believed to be 18 years of age, was trapped in his vehicle for approximately one hour.”
The man was rescued from the car by firefighters and treated for fractures to his legs and a suspected pelvic injury.
He was taken to University Hospital in Coventry for further assessment and treatment.
The driver of the second car, a man in his 50s, was in shock but had no injuries.
The man was also taken to hospital for further assessment.
