COTON Park Runners in Rugby are really getting in to their stride this year thanks to a helping hand from housebuilder, David Wilson East Midlands.

David Wilson has recently paid to produce new branded running vests for the team who meet up every Tuesday evening to run up to five miles.

The group, which was set up in June 2010 by running enthusiast Dean Horobin-Wright, comprises 27 members in total with a mix of different abilities.

It it is hoped that the recent sponsorship will encourage others to sign up.

Dean Horobin-Wright, Founder of the Coton Park Runners, said: “As a club, we have high hopes for our future and we’d like to encourage other residents to join us on our weekly runs.

“Demand has meant that we’ve already had to set up a Saturday morning run in addition to Tuesday evening, and we’re also looking to enter a number of group events throughout the country.”

The runners all live in Coton Park, where David Wilson is currently building a selection of new homes at Oaklands on Longstork Avenue.
