Young stars of the future attended the recent launch of the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Rugby.
The atmosphere was “electric” as more than 100 children and their parents enjoyed the day.
The youngsters who took part in the event at Harris Church of England School were split into different age groups and got to sample classes in the academy’s core modules.
They consist of comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television.
Parents got to take a peek of their children in action during the classes.
Jenny McDonald, principal of PQA Rugby said: “I am delighted to provide young people in the area with such a unique performing arts experience.
“We teach a comprehensive range of skills, which are useful for everyday life, not just a career in the performing arts. I am so excited to see what the future brings and want to thank everyone for their support.”
PQA Rugby is enrolling now. Classes run on Saturdays from 9.45am to 1pm.
