FATHER and son enjoyed a day out at Westminster in London this week - a place very familiar to them both.

Rugby MP Mark Pawsey invited his dad Jim Pawsey to London for the day on Monday for the first time since Mark’s election last year.

Although Westminster is now Mark’s place of work, his dad is all too familiar with the place too.

Jim, who is a retired British Conservative politician, was MP for Rugby from 1979 to 1983, then for Rugby and Kenilworth from 1983 until he lost the seat in the 1997 general election to Labour’s Andy King.

Mark was elected Member of Parliament for Rugby at the 2010 general election.
