People left trapped after crashes in Dunchurch and Brinklow

EMERGENCY services were called to attend a crash in Dunchurch.

The accident happened at 11.20am on Thursday on the A45 near Dunchurch.

Two fire crews from Rugby attended the scene, as well as an ambulance and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

Warwickshire Police were also on the scene.

One person was trapped in a vehicle and specialist cutting equipment was used to free the casualty.

Firefighters from Rugby were also called to another crash on the Coventry Road in Brinklow on Thursday at 12.50pm.

The incident involved a vehicle which had left the road and gone into a ditch.

Emergency services were called to help rescue a persona trapped in the car.
