Yellow lines have put an end to parking problems near Rugby town centre.

Pennington Street resident and campaigner John Brown said: “The county council has now painted double yellow lines in Round Street, Pennington Street and Plowman Street. Residents living in the flats have had enough of non-residents parking there to go shopping in town.”

John raised concerns with Rugby MP Mark Pawsey. John added: “Our fight has been taken on board by the traffic team at the county council. Rugby MP Mark Pawsey also helped and the hard work has paid off.”
