Donations still coming in to support family of well-known Leamington UPS delivery driver Julie

Funds are still coming in to support the family of the well-known Leamington UPS delivery driver Julie Brookes.

Julie, who had pancreatic cancer, died with her family by her side over the weekend, her loved ones have confirmed.

A JustGiving page had been set up a few weeks ago to support the family in their time of need and donations have now surpassed £13,000.

Well-wishers have left messages of support on the page.

One said: "I saw lovely Julie every day for years. I work at Nuffield.

"I used to laugh at the speed she reversed that massive van. We spoke every day and I looked forward to Christmas when she dressed up as an elf or Santa.

"I am heartbroken.

"I miss your lovely, smiling face and cheery personality."

Another added: "I just can not find any words, a beautiful soul, a caring friend, a bright star that shone where ever she went.

"Many warm memories of rocking nights away.

"Sleep my friend."
