A takeaway pizza place is due to open in Rugby town centre.

Pizza Hut is currently renovating 45 Regent Street for a new delivery store.

The new store opening and job opportunities for the new takeaway are advertised on the Pizza Hut website.

A sign has also gone up outside the building this week.

In February last year the Rugby Advertiser revealed that the former solicitors in Regent Street could soon be turned into a pizza takeaway after Rugby Borough Council granted planning permission to convert the empty building.

SME Pizza (2) Limited applied for permission to change the use of the building and to convert the space above into a three bedroom flat.

At the time it had not been confirmed which company would take over the unit but Pizza Hut said it was looking to open a delivery store in the town to ‘satisfy the demand from our fans’.

The opening will create several jobs at the new branch.
