IT’S been a busy end of term at Knightlow Primary School with reading festivals, a play and the school’s annual sports day.

The Stretton-on-Dunsmore school staged a production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and held a festival of reading.

For the school’s sports day a team of sporting experts was drafted in to show the children how it was done.

And according to deputy head Louisa Brown, the children have been having plenty of fun.

She said: “To mark the end of our sports week we held a day of racing events and then some events for the parents after too.

“The children have really enjoyed the past few weeks and it marks the end of a successful year.”
