Police appeal for missing Long Buckby teenager

A TEENAGER from Long Buckby has gone missing.

Police are appealing for information about the 14-year-old who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Matthew Woodbridge, from the Long Buckby area, was last seen at 4pm on Sunday, July 24.

Detective Sergeant Andy Blaize said: “We are keen to locate Matthew as a matter of urgency as we are concerned for his health and welfare.

“We understand people may be harbouring him because they believe this is in Matthew’s best interests.

“This is not the case. It is important that we establish where he is and how he is and anyone who is protecting or sheltering him will find themselves liable to criminal proceedings being taken against them.”
