Police continue investigations into death of Rugby teenager

OFFICERS are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the death of a 16 year old boy in Rugby.

Police were called to an incident at an address in Claremont Road, Rugby at 10.30am on Friday.

Paramedics took the teenager by ambulance to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire however despite attempts to save him he was later declared dead.

Officers questioned a 47 year old man in connection with the teenager’s death and he is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

A post mortem took place on Sunday. Further tests are being carried out to establish what caused the teenager’s death. This may take several weeks.
