TWO cars have been seized from two Rugby borough villages.

This week, whilst out on mobile patrols, police officers seized a vehicle in Long Lawford after the driver was caught driving with no insurance.

The driver was also summonsed to court for the offence.

The second car was stopped in Ryton-On-Dunsmore because it appeared to be in a un-road worthy condition.

When officer’s stopped the vehicle and checked it over, they discovered three of tyres were illegal and after completing some checks on the driver the officers discovered, that the driver did not have a driving licence and no insurance.

The vehicle was then seized and the driver was summonsed to court.
