THIEVES have targeted several homes in Rugby over the last few days.

During the night of June 14 into 15 offenders forced open the rear door at a home in Deepmore Road, Rugby.

Once inside, the offenders carried out an untidy search before stealing several items.

At just after midnight on Tuesday morning this week (June 19), two men, both wearing hoodies, opened a vehicle which was parked outside a home in Judith Way, Cawston.

The offenders also attempted to get into the house. Police traced the men and they were arrested.

At around 2.20am on Tuesday two young men, dressed in dark clothing, broke into the garage of a home in Buchanan Road, Rugby. The offenders smashed the door to the garage and are believed to have been after a quad bike which was chained and anchored inside.

A police spokesman said: “Please remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and please report anything of concern to police on 101.”
