MUSIC fans can put their knowledge to the test at a charity quiz in Rugby.
The Rugby Myton Day Hospice Pop Quiz will be held at the Benn Hall on October 13 and will raise money for the hospice on the site of St Cross Hospital.
The event, sponsored by The Jolly Brewers in Rugby, will once again be hosted by top quizmaster David Twynholm.
He said: “We have raised thousands of pounds every year and would hope to surpass a target of £1,000 for our latest quiz.
“This event is always popular and a great way for people to show off their musical knowledge, enjoy some great music from past to present and most importantly raise funds for an important local charity.”
Mr Twynholm added: “It’s a really enjoyable evening.
“Anyone who likes music would be guaranteed to have a great trip down memory lane.”
Teams may consist of up to six people and entry is £24 per team. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
First prize is £120, second is £60 and third is £30. Doors will open at 6.45pm for a prompt 7.30pm start.
There will be a bar available and we will be our £50 Lucky Number Prize sponsored by Joto Hobbies of Lawrence Sheriff Street, Rugby.
