Residents can have a say on plans for a new play area at Newbold’s Avon Mill Recreation Ground during a consultation event next week.
A £25,000 grant from SITA Trust’s QEII Fields Fund has paved the way for the new play area, and a number of designs have now been drawn up.
The designs go on display at Newbold Methodist Hall on Wednesday 4 December, when residents can vote for a preferred plan.
Pupils at Newbold Riverside Primary School have a chance to vote for a favourite design during a consultation at the school on Thursday 5 December.
The council has joined forces with the recently formed Newbold on Avon Community Partnership to draw up the play area plans.
The consultation event at Newbold Methodist Hall runs from 7pm to 8.30pm.
