Purple egg mystery at Paddox Primary School

CHILDREN at Paddox Primary School were amazed to find that two giant purple eggs had been ‘laid’ in a nest in their playground.

Upon finding the eggs teachers took photographs to send to scientists in London to find out where they may have come from, while the children spent the week researching and hunting for clues, as well as producing artwork and writing news reports.

As the days went on the eggs began to crack until eventually on Friday the youngsters discovered they had hatched and whatever was inside has disappeared.

The mystery has still not yet been solved.
