Quad bike rider in hit-and-run on pedestrian in Rugby

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a quad bike yesterday (Tuesday).

The collision is believed to have happened sometime between 1.30pm and 1.55pm, when a woman in her 30s was crossing Clifton Road near Cambridge Street.

A dark blue quad bike travelling from the direction of Clifton towards town was involved in the collision but did not stop at the scene.

The woman suffered minor injuries and police would like to speak to the rider of the quad bike.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 233 of 25 October.
