IT may not be Christmas but to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee the statue in Dunchurch has been given a right royal makover.

Pranksters struck during the middle of the night over the weekend to transform Lord John Scott into the Queen - just in time for the Jubilee celebrations this weekend.

The prank has been a long running tradition in Dunchurch every Christmas when the statue is dressed up during the dead of night.

The last time Lord John Scott wore an outfit was Christmas 2011 when he was dressed as a Smurf.
