People in Rugby are urged to show their mugs and help raise money for the World’s Biggest Coffee morning.

The Advertiser is one of the businesses and organisations taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support today (Friday).

It is being held from 10am to midday at the Advertiser office in Albert Street and includes tea, coffee, soft drinks, homemade cakes and biscuits.

Raffle prizes include a two course Sunday lunch at The Old Olive Bush, a £15 gift voucher for The Entertainer, a flower arrangement or basket from Jeans Flowers, bag of goodies from Vanilla, a beauty gift voucher from Sundays, a beauty gift voucher from Perfection Beauty, a food blender, two handmade teddies, a rugby shirt, a rucksack, a tin of chocolates and a bottle of wine.

All donations will go to Macmillan.

Various others are being held around town. John Taylor Funeral Service, 30 Regent Street, hosts one tomorrow (Friday) from 10am to 2pm.

Warwickshire College will be putting the kettle on tomorrow from 8.30am - 1.30pm in the library of the college in Technology Drive.

There will be a raffle, tombola, hand massages, coffee and cake.

Clifton Chiropractic, in Clifton Road, Rugby will be hosting its coffee morning on Saturday from 11am.
