Hundreds of women joined together to celebrate 80 years of the Ladies’ Circle.
Members of Rugby Webb Ellis Ladies’ Circle enjoyed a party in Solihull last week.
Chair Clare Abbis said: “The event went really well and the 560 women who attended had an absolute blast - although the hotel did run out of Prosecco.
“We were greeted with signature blue cocktails, browsed the stalls while we caught up with friends and enjoyed the luncheon, which raised £4,000 for Coppafeel.”
Speakers included Rosie Green, beauty editor at Red Magazine and the Coxless Crew, the young women who rowed the Pacific last year.
“Everyone was given a gift of a cocktail shaker with the event logo on,” added Clare.
“A vintage singer also had everyone up and dancing which was fantastic.”
She said members take part in exciting activities all year round too, as well as community work and fundraising.
“Rugby Webb Ellis Ladies’ Circle have even more to celebrate as they turn 40 this year too.”
