More new shops are set to open in Rugby town centre over the coming weeks.
BrightHouse, a weekly payment store, will open in the Clock Towers Shopping Centre on Monday. It will sell a range of goods including electricals, kitchen appliances and home furnishings.
In Church Street, a new games shop is due to open in April called Shadow Games.
The shop, which is currently being refurbished, will include retail space selling a variety of games and four separate gaming rooms.
An empty unit in Regent Street has a sign in the window saying ‘Outlandish Gaming Lounge and Cafe’, also due to open in April, while Costa Coffee has applied for planning permission to open a new two-storey coffee shop in Chapel Street.
Thomas Cook, which has a branch in Rugby, has announced a consultation period, which will consider plans to close 195 high street stores.
