Have your say

THANKS to our kindhearted readers, we have now collected 86,000 stamps as part of our ongoing campaign.

The Rugby Advertiser Stamp Appeal launched at the start of the year and thanks to piles of donations from our readers we have now collected more than 86,000 stamps.

One stamp collection that we received this week came from Tom Kelleher who lives in Fleetwood in Lancashire.

The stamp collector, who used to live in Rugby, heard about our campaign and sent us his collection. It is in immaculate condition and contains stamps from all over the world including Malta, Thailand, Monaco, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.

The are also dozens of commemorative stamps from over the years.

The Stamp Appeal is raising money for Oxfam and Leukaemia Care.

Although we have received a fantastic amount, we still want more.

Please send us your stamps or drop them into the Rugby Advertiser, 2 Albert Street, Rugby.
