They’re more used to flying than sinking, but members of Rugby Air Cadets have celebrated a successful year by going scuba diving.
The squadron, which won various awards in 2012, took part in a team-building exercise at the Ken Marriott leisure centre in March, shortly before it closed. It involved 12 non-commissioned officers and cadets.
Cadet Warrant Officer Webb, who organised the activity, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to share something I love doing, and for the team to have a break. It is a good reward for their hard work over the last year, and is something I hope they will be interested in continuing.”
