RUGBY BOROUGH COUNCIL ELECTIONS: Count has begun

COUNTING the Rugby Borough Council election votes began at the Benn Hall in Newbold Road at 9.30am this morning (Friday).

Polling stations across Rugby borough were open for 15 hours yesterday where people could not only cast their votes for their local councillor but also put a cross in the yes or no box for the Alternative Vote referendum.

As the results come in for each ward the Rugby Advertiser will post the results online as soon as they are available.
