A charity in Rugby which supports victims or rape or sexual abuse has launched their new premises in the town.

RoSA celebrated the opening with a gathering of RoSA’s partners, supporters and Deputy Mayor of Rugby Ramesh Srivastava.

Linda Lewis who is agency director of RoSA, in Sheep Street, said: “Our previous address had just two rooms for all clients and it was difficult to create a pleasant and calm atmosphere in a room which is used by all clients no matter what their age or gender is. The new rooms have allowed us to create an accessible, relaxed and safe environment for our clients to attend their sessions. We furnished two rooms specifically for adults, one room for our teenage clients and another room for children.

“We are thrilled for our clients as they deserve the appropriate environment when they come here for support. We wish to convey our thanks and gratitude to everyone who has supported us – in particular our sponsors and donors as well as Rugby Borough Council who helped make our vision become a reality.”
