Co-ordinators of the new Rugby branch of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) were invited to the House of Commons last month.
They attended a reception on June 15 at the beginning of Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week and were joined by MP David Amess.
The society’s founder Ailsa Bosworth also joined guests at the event, which celebrated the progress that had been made in rheumatoid arthritis care.
