Proceeds from card sales at St Andrew’s Church in Rugby last Christmas will help 17 charities.

Rugby Combined Charities Christmas Card Shop also sold other festive items to raise £18,000.

Some of the causes helped include Marie Curie Cancer Care, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Guide Dogs.

Committee member Zinnia Allen said: “We would like to say a big thank you to St Andrew’s Church, the volunteers and all who support the shop.”
