The Rugby Male Voice Choir treated audiences to their annual Spring Concert earlier this month.

The choir were joined by guest instrumentalist Melanie Green and the evening raised over £600 for the Friends of the Hospital of St Cross.

The money will be used to help fund specialist beds for patients at the hospital.

Willy Goldschmidt, vice-chairman of the charity said: “This was the fourth concert in aid of the Friends given by the choir since the launch of the Friends Diamond Jubilee Appeal and we look forward to their continued support.”

He added: “We are delighted by this continued support as one of the objectives of the Appeal was to extend our engagement with the community and we look forward to reporting on more donations which will help us continue to make a difference.”
