Rugby man on stolen goods and drugs charge to face court

A 40-year-old Rugby man appeared at Nuneaton Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with receiving stolen goods and possessing a Class B drug.

Martin Crouch, of Anderson Avenue in Hillside, Rugby, was arrested on Monday following a joint operation by officers from the town’s Priority Policing Area team, the Acquisitive Crime Team and the Vehicle Crime Team as part of Operation X.

He was later charged with dishonestly receiving stolen car parts and possessing a quantity of amphetamine, believed to be worth around £400. Crouch was released on bail until August 13 at Warwickshire Crown Court.
