Rugby man remanded in custody after court appearance for car key burglary in Brownsover

A MAN who appeared before magistrates in Leamington on Saturday in connection with a car key burglary in Brownsover has been remanded in custody pending a further court appearance.

Saul Jake Linton, aged 20, was charged with car key burglary, aggravated TWOC (taking a vehicle without consent) and other driving offences following the incident on July 7.

During the incident a Honda Accord van was stolen after keys had been taken from inside the property and was later involved in a collision in Little Lawford Lane, Rugby. The driver ran away from the scene.

Linton will appear at Leamington Magistrates’ Court on Friday, August 24.
