Warwickshire Police is asking the public for their help in locating a Rugby man who is wanted for breaching his court bail conditions.

Ransford Buabeng (pictured above) was charged on November 23 2015 with the rape of a 15-year-old girl.

The 31-year-old attended Warwick Crown Court on September 9 of this year and was given specific court bail conditions. He was due to reattend court in November but it is now believed he has breached the bail conditions and police are urgently looking to locate him.

He is thought to have links to London and Essex and has been known to use false documentation in the past, so he could be using a different name.

Detective Sergeant Ollie Deakin from Warwickshire Police said: “Mr Buabeng has been charged with a very serious offence. He is thought to be a flight risk and warnings have been put in place at ports and airports to ensure he does not escape the country and we are asking anyone who may have seen him to contact us.

“He is described as a black man, 5’7” inches tall of a slim build. He has brown eyes with short black shaven hair and speaks with a Ghanaian accent.”

If you have any information about Mr Buabeng’s whereabouts, call Warwickshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
