A Rugby mum has turned her shopping blunder into a charity fundraiser to help raise awareness of her son’s condition.

Hayley Lloyd, 40, bought a blind from Tuiss Blinds but placed the order in millimetres instead of inches, leaving her with a miniscule blind.

Hayley tweeted Tuiss asking the company to auction the blind to raise cash for Muscular Dystrophy UK as her son Tommy, nine, suffers from the condition.

Star of Gogglebox and Celebrity Big Brother, George Gilbey, presented the blind to the family on July 30.

Hayley hit the headlines last year after she bagged a skydive and a date with George.

He agreed to take the plunge if Hayley reached her fundraising target for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

Tuiss has added the charity’s logo to the unique blind and 15 per cent of the sale price will go towards the charity’s support work.
