Actors and actresses with learning disabilities will take to the stage in Rugby on Wednesday for an hilarious take on a Roald Dahl poem.

Members of Tea Leaf Tales have been busy rehearsing for their version of Cinderella, adapted the much-loved poem.

It takes place at the Claremont Centre, Age UK, 43 Clifton Road, from 1.30pm and is free.

“Everyone has worked really hard for this,” said Rowen, who works for Tea Leaf Tales.

“The poem is hilarious and I think our cast have done an amazing job that hopefully lots of people will enjoy.”

Tea Leaf Tales is a local drama group for independent adults with learning disabilities. Members explore skills in mime, movement, storytelling, prop, and costume design, and also play an active role in running the fun and creative group.
