Blue Arrow Recruitment has beaten off stiff competition from 25 other town centre businesses to win this year’s Best Dressed Christmas Window competition.
The competition, organised by Rugby First and judged by the Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Tony Gillias, also saw, House of Cards, a new business, pick up the runners-up prize.
Tracey Barker, operations manager for Blue Arrow Recruitment, said: “We are delighted that we were chosen this year. We wanted our window to reflect our people and what we do as a business and also to bring a bit of Christmas festivity to all that go past. A Merry Christmas to all from Blue Arrow.”
Maxine Saxon, joint owner of House of Cards, said: “This is our first window competition and we feel honoured to receive second place. All of the entries were amazing and we send our congratulations to ‘Blue Arrow Recruitment’ on winning first prize.”
Aftab Gaffar, managing director of Rugby First, said: “The standard of entries this year was extremely high and the mayor had a tough job in choosing the winner and runner-up. The window displays are fantastic and extremely creative and I am sure visitors to Rugby will enjoy them as part of their Christmas shopping experience along with the new lights. I would like to thank all those businesses that took part.”
