Rugby’s county election results: The complete story with tables and video

The Conservatives remain the majority party in Warwickshire County Council but have lost overall control, and the seat of council leader Alan Farnell.

It means that the Conservatives will no longer be able to force through decisions if the other political groups chose to co-operate in oposition against a policy. In Warwickshire the lost seats mostly went to Labour, with Greens and Independents also winning seats.
