Rugby station running trains to Hogwarts

Rugby Train Station
Rugby Train Station

Passengers at Rugby’s train station were surprised to find trains marked to Hogwarts, the school which fictional wizard, Harry Potter attends.

A little-known fact for fans of the stories is that the Hogwarts Express, the train service that takes the pupils to the magical school, actually stops off in Rugby for those who live far from London.

But the advertised service in the town’s station does not display what platform passengers need to wait on and states that the train is for witches and wizards only.

Author of the fictional series, J.K. Rowling played up to the fun by wishing James Severus Potter, Harry Potter’s son, good luck on his first day at Hogwarts on her Twitter account.
