Rugby teenager remanded in prison following court appearance in connection with Leamington restaurant attack

A RUGBY man has been remanded following an incident at Viallis restaurant in Leamington.

Arronjit Singh Colar, 18, from Percival Road in Rugby has been remanded in custody after appearing before Nuneaton Magistrates Court on Saturday morning.

He is next scheduled to appear in court on December 29.

Colar was charged with section 18 wounding with intent and with possessing a knife, blade or sharp pointed article in a public place following an incident that occurred at Viallis restaurant in Victoria Terrace, Leamington Spa at 2.30am on Wednesday 19 September 2012.
