A 39-year-old woman from Rugby has appeared in court charged with fraud and theft of £130,000 relating to a vulnerable elderly woman.

Lynn Paula Minrath, of York Street, appeared at Leamington Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday January 8).

She has been released on conditional bail and will appear at Warwick Crown Court on Thursday April 30.

The charge relates to incidents that happened between Tuesday May 27 2014 and Friday January 2 2015 in Rugby, following an allegation of theft of large sums of money from a vulnerable elderly woman from the Rugby area.
